Forgone, Forwent, Forever

Diminish, like blue before the rain.  The hours beg for color, but that lies behind those clouds.  All is grey.  All can be touched by some light but more shadow.  Seen so in every tree in distance.  Every leaf, every branch, all robbed of green, of breath.  No difference between dawn and dusk, in this manner of pall.  All dwoemer dimmed, and that ring of day no longer on any anvil.  The silence harms as much as the dark. Just silence until all is dark.  – Mitsuo Tanaka
